The 2026 Candy Cup Player Combine, hosted by 701 Hockey Blueprint, is a high-energy, skills-based experience designed to test and showcase each player's game. Athlees will compete across one, or multiple, stations focused on speed, shooting accuracy, puck control, passing, and reaction, with all results tracked using SkillShark technology.

Each participant will receive an official Player Stats Summary, giving them measurable results and a snapshot of their performance. With prizes on the line, the Player Combine brings a fun, competitive, and development-focused experience to the Candy Cup weekend!

5:00 - 5:20 | Westside Whalers, Polar XPress, ND Kings

5:20 - 6:00 | Brushvale Regs., PuckPops, Dekes of Hazard, Unbeatables, Valley Frost

6:00 - 6:40 | Rink Raptors, Rink Rats, FM Big Cats, Ice Vipers, Crash Out, Rhinos

6:40 - 7:20 | Queens, Frozen Flames, Sugar Rush, Ice Angels, Puck Punishers, Sweet Tooth Snipers

7:20 - 8:00 | Sugar Rush, Ice Agents, Gummy Worms, Cando ODNAC, Ice Clams

• Register on our website - deadline is Friday March 20 at 12:00pm
• Friday March 20, 5-8pm: Athletes arrive at their scheduled time, and check-in at the Hoist Hockey front desk
• Check-In Volunteer will take the Athletes photo, to ensure results are recorded for correct athletes
• Each station is designed to test a specific, fundamental hockey skill
• Results are recorded using SkillShark technology
• Athletes will receive an official Player Stats Summary after completing the Combine event
• Leaderboards will track top performances, and first-place prizes can be collected at West Fargo Sports Arena, on Saturday March 21 & Sunday March 22, 2026

1. EDGE & SPEED RACE : Players race through a timed skating course featuring tight turns, edge work, a hard stop, and a final sprint to the finish. On-Ice, timed event. Helmet, skates, gloves, and stick required.
2. SNIPER ACCURACY CHALLENGE : Players have 30 seconds to knock down as many targets as possible, with each target counting once toward their total score. Off-Ice, timed event (Upstairs, shooting bay at Hoist). Gloves, Stick, and Shoes Required.
3. DANGLER STICK-HANDLING CHALLENGE : Players test their hands on the SuperDeker system, scoring as many points as possible in a 30-second timed run. Off-Ice, timed event (Turf area at Hoist). Gloves, Stick, and Shoes Required.
4. PASSING PRECISION CHALLENGE : Players have 30 seconds to complete as many clean passes and controlled catches as possible, using the rebound passer. Off-Ice, timed event (Turf area at Hoist). Gloves, Stick, and Shoes Required.
5. BRICK WALL CHALLENGE : Goalies face 20 rapid-fire shots from designated shooters and aim to make as many saves as possible. Quick reaction and recovery time is key for this event! On-Ice event. FULL Goalie Gear is Required!
