701 HOCKEY BLUEPRINT

701 Hockey Blueprint is a player development branch of The Fargo FaceOff, created and developed by Coach Riley Clark. Built on the same mission and values which power The Fargo FaceOff, 701 Hockey Blueprint focuses on developing complete players - on and off the ice.

Beyond the technical training, 701 Hockey Blueprint aims to build relationships, leadership, and community - helping young athletes become strong teammates and positive role models both inside and outside the rink.

RILEY CLARK, Head Coach

Head Coach, 701 Hockey Blueprint

Riley grew up in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, where hockey was part of everyday life - as well as his family legacy (Fun Fact: His Grandma's bother was NHL legend, Gordie Howe). A smart, dependable defenseman, Riley played at the highest levels of youth hockey, including the elite Brick Invitational Tournament, and later won a national championship with the Saskatoon Contacts, at the TELUS Cup.

After several years of junior hockey in Saskatchewan, Riley earned a Division 1 college scholarship and moved upstate to play NCAA hockey at RIT. Today, he is a physician in the Fargo-Moorhead area, and a coach who understands both the physical and mental side of athlete development.

Now in this fourth season coaching, Riley brings elite playing experience, calm leadership, and a teaching style kids connect with. At 701, his focus is simple: build confidence, build the foundation, and teach players to earn their game - one rep at a time.
